Spectators: 9195 (Terracing: 6898, Seating: 2114, VIP seats: 183) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Domenico Apolloni got the match started through his kick off. Wojciech Szczęsny came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Jääskänjoki FC's Domenico Apolloni. But to his dismay, Domenico Apolloni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 6th minute, Iikka Metsberg made a precise shot to the right of Juhapekka Snellman. Jääskänjoki FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 10 minutes, Markku Kangasniemi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Påvadsby FC and the Jääskänjoki FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Påvadsby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markku Kangasniemi to maneuver through the defense. Juhapekka Snellman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ossi Mikkonen in the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Terho Kesä managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Påvadsby FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terho Kesä was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Påvadsby FC's goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domenico Apolloni. In the 21st minute Jääskänjoki FC were awarded a corner. Klaus Niemivirta went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Humberto Noya heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elmer Saarelainen during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Påvadsby FC got a freekick which was hit by Elmer Saarelainen. Wojciech Szczęsny made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Daniel Kaivola sent off a good shot on target. Domenico Apolloni scored 2-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wojciech Szczęsny, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. During the 29th minute of the match Elmer Saarelainen completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Elmer Saarelainen a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Elmer Saarelainen hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jääskänjoki FC's zone, Terho Kesä stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juhapekka Snellman came out of the goal and Terho Kesä tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juhapekka Snellman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvo Sillanpää, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Kaivola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wojciech Szczęsny having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Iikka Metsberg made the kick off in the second half. If Domenico Apolloni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Jääskänjoki FC's Arsi Puistola got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jääskänjoki FC's zone, Silvo Sillanpää stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juhapekka Snellman came out of the goal and Silvo Sillanpää tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvo Sillanpää kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Domenico Apolloni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wojciech Szczęsny having to interfere. Wojciech Szczęsny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Kaivola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wojciech Szczęsny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Poz, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Wojciech Szczęsny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saku Ahokorpi in the 70th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Påvadsby FC's Keijo Hytönen got a free kick in the 71st minute. Terho Kesä received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Juhapekka Snellman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Påvadsby FC's zone, Domenico Apolloni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wojciech Szczęsny came out of the goal and Domenico Apolloni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Påvadsby FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ossi Mikkonen hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domenico Apolloni in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wojciech Szczęsny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mauri Saira was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 90 minutes into the match. Mauri Saira hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. If Daniel Kaivola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jääskänjoki FC had played much better football throughout.
