One of Karankamäki FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vakkuri IFK:s goal. 13 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Vakkuri IFK's Paavo Kyrönlahti fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. A collision led to Vakkuri IFK getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Taisto Karvinen hit a great ball. Paavo Kyrönlahti kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vakkuri IFK's Elia Granati got a free kick in the 21st minute. Inocencio Christobal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Malvin Elenes came out and tried to block the shot, but Inocencio Christobal slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esa Laitila in the 25th minute of play forced Karankamäki FC's goalkeeper Celalettin Erduran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Christobal in the 26th minute of play forced Vakkuri IFK's goalkeeper Malvin Elenes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juhani Hautaoja hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Sandu Comșa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celalettin Erduran was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 35th match minute, Karankamäki FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernst Backlund to maneuver through the defense. Celalettin Erduran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Comșa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esa Laitila in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celalettin Erduran saved Karankamäki FC from getting behind. Inocencio Christobal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malvin Elenes having to interfere. Inocencio Christobal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Vakkuri IFK's goalkeeper Malvin Elenes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aleksis Junnila. Vakkuri IFK's Sandu Comșa got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esa Laitila made a kick off. Karankamäki FC's Celalettin Erduran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Comșa in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Ernst Backlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Esa Laitila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celalettin Erduran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paavo Kyrönlahti in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Vakkuri IFK's Sandu Comșa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celalettin Erduran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Jouko Palolahti fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karankamäki FC's protests and gave Jouko Palolahti a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vakkuri IFK booed when Karankamäki FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jouko Palolahti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandu Comșa in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celalettin Erduran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Paavo Kyrönlahti came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Vakkuri IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paavo Kyrönlahti couldn't finish the play. Celalettin Erduran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandu Comșa's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Raine Vihermäki kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The Karankamäki FC fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Karankamäki FC's Aleksis Junnila looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Celalettin Erduran came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Vakkuri IFK's Sandu Comșa. But to his dismay, Sandu Comșa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After a rather tough play, Vakkuri IFK's Raine Vihermäki got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Inocencio Christobal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karankamäki FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Inocencio Christobal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Malvin Elenes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Malvin Elenes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veikka Helkamo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malvin Elenes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Christobal in the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Karankamäki FC's Jouko Palolahti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Malvin Elenes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vakkuri IFK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
