In the 6th minute Djati Tarigan suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 6 minutes into the game, Saku Paaso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huuhmarisvaara FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Akanlahti IFK the free kick. Akanlahti IFK's Wim Weggemans was substituted for Djati Tarigan. After 7 played minutes Huuhmarisvaara FC got a freekick which was hit by Saku Paaso. Kaarlo Järvenperä took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonni Nitti. Huuhmarisvaara FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Saku Paaso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonni Nitti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Long Johnson, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 卓常卫 in the 14th minute of play forced Huuhmarisvaara FC's goalkeeper Jonni Nitti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Akanlahti IFK fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Akanlahti IFK's Long Johnson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Urpo Rämö blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wojtek Szczęsny having to make a save. Akanlahti IFK's Wojtek Szczęsny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Akanlahti IFK from getting a goal against them. Wojtek Szczęsny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saku Paaso in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Long Johnson in the 22nd minute of play forced Huuhmarisvaara FC's goalkeeper Jonni Nitti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Akanlahti IFK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Wim Weggemans hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute Long Johnson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonni Nitti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Akanlahti IFK's Wim Weggemans got a free kick in the 34th minute. Huuhmarisvaara FC's Urpo Rämö got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wojtek Szczęsny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saku Paaso in the 36th minute of the match. Jonni Nitti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Long Johnson, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 40 minutes Huuhmarisvaara FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joakim Nikko who took care of the corner kick. Wojtek Szczęsny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kerkko Kallioniemi in the 41st minute. Joakim Nikko kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Long Johnson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Akanlahti IFK's Wojtek Szczęsny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saku Paaso in the 61st minute of play. 卓常卫 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jonni Nitti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Akanlahti IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Saku Paaso came free, but Wojtek Szczęsny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saku Paaso struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Wojtek Szczęsny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huuhmarisvaara FC. In the 94th minute of the match Kaarlo Järvenperä sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonni Nitti skillfully saved the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Huuhmarisvaara FC's goal looked a bit too open when 卓常卫 came free, but Jonni Nitti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Akanlahti IFK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
