After a rather tough play, Tiittola's Ilpo Kukkonen got a free kick in the 19th minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Panu Vihko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruskeakoski IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panu Vihko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Tiittola defense, Ahto Kiviharju kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 董伟志. The Tiittola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 董伟志 should have stopped the shot. Ruskeakoski IFK's Sol Gardner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Ruskeakoski IFK from getting a goal against them. Tiittola's 董伟志 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panu Vihko in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panu Vihko in the 36th minute of play forced Tiittola's goalkeeper 董伟志 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panu Vihko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiittola's 董伟志 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manne Kattilakoski in the 43rd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toimi Tuokko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 董伟志 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panu Vihko in the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Ruskeakoski IFK getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Roope Nevanlinna hit a great ball. Ruskeakoski IFK made a substitution. Samuel Pluta replaced Ilari Hentunen. Ruskeakoski IFK's Gilian Aelgoet was substituted for Ahto Kiviharju. Ruskeakoski IFK's Leevi Lundell was substituted for Pekko Pasanen. Tiittola's 董伟志 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panu Vihko in the 72nd minute of play. With his leg 董伟志 managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Ruskeakoski IFK's Manne Kattilakoski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 董伟志 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panu Vihko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiittola's Toimi Tuokko got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Ruskeakoski IFK's Roope Nevanlinna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 董伟志. That made the score 1-3 after 94 minutes of play. The Ruskeakoski IFK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ruskeakoski IFK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
