In the 5th minute Saku Paaso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sami Veikkanen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Tärnebolstad defense, Saku Paaso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sami Veikkanen. The Tärnebolstad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sami Veikkanen should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saku Paaso in the 16th minute of play forced Tärnebolstad's goalkeeper Sami Veikkanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saku Paaso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sami Veikkanen having to make a save. In the 23rd minute Vili Piekkanen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sami Veikkanen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Huuhmarisvaara FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Huuhmarisvaara FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tärnebolstad the free kick. In the 39th minute, Kerkko Kallioniemi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonni Nitti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Mäntylä in the 41st minute of the match. Sami Veikkanen came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Huuhmarisvaara FC's Vili Piekkanen. But to his dismay, Vili Piekkanen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Sami Veikkanen came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Huuhmarisvaara FC's Saku Paaso. But to his dismay, Saku Paaso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marko Mäntylä stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vili Piekkanen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saku Paaso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sami Veikkanen having to make a save. Vili Piekkanen in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sami Veikkanen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 59 minutes into the game, Vili Piekkanen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huuhmarisvaara FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tärnebolstad the free kick. Vili Piekkanen kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Asko Pihlajamäki kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes Tärnebolstad got a freekick which was hit by Pauli Niemelä. Vili Piekkanen came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sami Veikkanen could save by the left post. After 70 minutes, Samuel Vapaniemi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huuhmarisvaara FC and the Tärnebolstad players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes Huuhmarisvaara FC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Vapaniemi. Jyrki Vento didn't quite understand what happened when in the 71 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Sami Veikkanen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vili Piekkanen went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Huuhmarisvaara FC's Sami Veikkanen threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saku Paaso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Huuhmarisvaara FC's Saku Paaso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sami Veikkanen. That made the score 0-10 after 82 minutes of play. The supporters of Huuhmarisvaara FC booed when Tärnebolstad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marko Mäntylä didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Juhapekka Pölönen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tapio Haarala's late challenge caught a Huuhmarisvaara FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tapio Haarala helped the player get up and apologised. When Vili Piekkanen came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Huuhmarisvaara FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vili Piekkanen couldn't finish the play. The Tärnebolstad supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Huuhmarisvaara FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Huuhmarisvaara FC.
