Asko Pihlajamäki hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Esa Laitila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sami Veikkanen. Akkala FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esa Laitila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Comșa in the 14th minute of play forced Akkala FC's goalkeeper Sami Veikkanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 played minutes Akkala FC got a freekick which was hit by Jyrki Vento. Esa Laitila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Sami Veikkanen made a huge save. In the 25th match minute, Akkala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jyrki Vento to maneuver through the defense. Sami Veikkanen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paavo Kyrönlahti in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, Akkala FC's Sami Veikkanen got control of the ball when Esa Laitila tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Esa Laitila took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Sami Veikkanen to make any attempt to save it. Nicodim Minea charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Saul Markkula took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Malvin Elenes. Vakkuri IFK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marko Mäntylä in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Malvin Elenes saved Vakkuri IFK from getting behind. In the 37th match minute, Vakkuri IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicodim Minea to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Vakkuri IFK's Sami Veikkanen threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sandu Comșa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vakkuri IFK's Malvin Elenes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Mäntylä in the 45th minute of play. Sandu Comșa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 83rd minute Asko Pihlajamäki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malvin Elenes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antti Savijoki kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Jyrki Vento hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Vakkuri IFK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Akkala FC for a fine match.
