In the 27th minute, Gonzalo Bergessio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. That made the score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. Sandu Comșa got his second yellow card in the match during the 44th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Fc Pehmeät Jänikset booed when Vakkuri IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandu Comșa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Fc Pehmeät Jänikset made a substitution. Tunç Hacıfettahoğlu replaced Jukka-Pekka Ruohiainen. Gonzalo Bergessio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Malvin Elenes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vakkuri IFK's Malvin Elenes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Bergessio in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fc Pehmeät Jänikset's Atso Ruohiainen got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 98 minutes into the match, Vakkuri IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Bergessio came free, but Malvin Elenes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fc Pehmeät Jänikset walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
