In the 4th minute, Long Johnson made a precise shot to the right of Sol Gardner. Ruskeakoski IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Wojtek Szczęsny came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Ruskeakoski IFK's Panu Vihko. But to his dismay, Panu Vihko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Long Johnson struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Sol Gardner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Akanlahti IFK. If Roope Nevanlinna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Väinö Tuomisalo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Akanlahti IFK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Manne Kattilakoski scored to the left of an out of position Wojtek Szczęsny, making the score, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manne Kattilakoski in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wojtek Szczęsny saved Akanlahti IFK from getting behind. Manne Kattilakoski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Wojtek Szczęsny when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 23rd match minute, Akanlahti IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wim Weggemans to maneuver through the defense. Manne Kattilakoski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Wojtek Szczęsny made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Manne Kattilakoski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Panu Vihko in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wojtek Szczęsny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 34 in the game by Manne Kattilakoski from a close distance when the talented Wojtek Szczęsny managed to make a qualified save. Akanlahti IFK's players were relieved. Sol Gardner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Long Johnson's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 43rdth minute of the game Long Johnson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ruskeakoski IFK's Sol Gardner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Panu Vihko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wojtek Szczęsny was relentless in the 45th minute of the game.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Panu Vihko to strike the kick off in the second half. Wojtek Szczęsny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manne Kattilakoski, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A collision led to Akanlahti IFK getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Long Johnson hit a great ball. In the 59thth minute of the game Panu Vihko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Akanlahti IFK's Wojtek Szczęsny was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sol Gardner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Long Johnson in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Ruskeakoski IFK getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Pekko Pasanen hit a great ball. Ruskeakoski IFK's Leevi Lundell was substituted for Pekko Pasanen. Ruskeakoski IFK made a substitution. Samuel Pluta replaced Ilari Hentunen. In the 66th match minute, Ruskeakoski IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pekko Pasanen to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Väinö Tuomisalo from long distance, 67 minutes into the match, got Sol Gardner's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Long Johnson in the 68th minute of play forced Ruskeakoski IFK's goalkeeper Sol Gardner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manne Kattilakoski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wojtek Szczęsny read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute of the match Ruskeakoski IFK got a corner. Akanlahti IFK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Niklas Metsäranta ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Niklas Metsäranta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wojtek Szczęsny quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Ruskeakoski IFK's Ludomil Chazon got a free kick in the 74th minute. Wojtek Szczęsny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manne Kattilakoski in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Akanlahti IFK booed when Ruskeakoski IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niklas Metsäranta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ruskeakoski IFK's Panu Vihko in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Akanlahti IFK's goalie prevented a goal. When Long Johnson came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Akanlahti IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Long Johnson couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the match, Ruskeakoski IFK's goalkeeper Sol Gardner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 卓常卫. The audience thought a goal was coming when 卓常卫 got free with Sol Gardner in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Akanlahti IFK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
