Karankamäki FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Akkala FC the free kick. Celalettin Erduran came out of the goal and Asko Pihlajamäki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jyrki Allen kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When Akkala FC's Marko Mäntylä in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karankamäki FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Aleksis Junnila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karankamäki FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksis Junnila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inocencio Christobal might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sami Veikkanen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inocencio Christobal ran back to his position shaking his head. After 45 minutes of play, Karankamäki FC's Aleksis Junnila made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sami Veikkanen was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The wind increased when Marko Mäntylä made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Veikka Helkamo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karankamäki FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Veikka Helkamo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inocencio Christobal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sami Veikkanen having to make a save. The corner led Karankamäki FC's Tapio Puutio to fire away a dangerous shot which Sami Veikkanen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Antto Manninen was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. Aleksis Junnila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Sami Veikkanen made a huge save. In the 73rd match minute, Karankamäki FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaakkima Manninen to maneuver through the defense. Inocencio Christobal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Karankamäki FC's Inocencio Christobal in the 91st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Sami Veikkanen was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Akkala FC through an amazing save. A collision led to Karankamäki FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Aleksis Junnila hit a great ball. The supporters of Akkala FC booed when Karankamäki FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaakkima Manninen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marko Mäntylä sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Karankamäki FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
