Yan Chong Sen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esa Joenväärä went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Yan Chong Sen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juha-Pekka Glad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, AC Sarsaparilla's goalkeeper Taavi Hulkkonen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romelu Lukaku. Romelu Lukaku sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvard Laakkonen hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Taavi Hulkkonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romelu Lukaku, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Doğuş Turabi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Taavi Hulkkonen. That made the score 2-1 in the 29 minute of play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Alvi Viuhkola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palloketut's Yan Chong Sen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Palloketut's Yan Chong Sen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esa Joenväärä in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romelu Lukaku was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esa Joenväärä in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yan Chong Sen saved Palloketut from getting behind. Taavi Hulkkonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romelu Lukaku, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romelu Lukaku fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taavi Hulkkonen having to interfere. Yan Chong Sen didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 59th minute, which inside left pole to 3-2. 64 minutes into the match, AC Sarsaparilla's goal looked a bit too open when Romelu Lukaku came free, but Taavi Hulkkonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Yan Chong Sen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Heikki Sulonen scored 3-3 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yan Chong Sen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Palloketut made a substitution. Marcus Hjelm replaced Arvo Salminen. In the 78th minute, Doğuş Turabi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AC Sarsaparilla's Joonatan Huttunen was substituted for Reko Brinck. Doğuş Turabi hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. AC Sarsaparilla's Taavi Hulkkonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doğuş Turabi in the 83rd minute of play. Yan Chong Sen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esa Joenväärä in the 84th minute of the match. AC Sarsaparilla's Alvi Viuhkola got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute Edvard Laakkonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan Chong Sen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Edvard Laakkonen fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Sarsaparilla's protests and gave Edvard Laakkonen a yellow card for diving instead. Romelu Lukaku recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
