In the 12th minute Shaker Yousry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hussien Khalil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nabil Reda might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fares Nassef. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nabil Reda ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Buhaydah booed when Istanha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hosny Yousif didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fares Nassef took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nabil Reda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shady Yousry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fares Nassef having to interfere. Haitham Omar's late challenge caught a Buhaydah's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haitham Omar helped the player get up and apologised. Buhaydah's Nabil Reda got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Istanha's Fares Nassef proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Istanha from getting a goal against them. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shady Yousry in the 63rd minute of play forced Istanha's goalkeeper Fares Nassef to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fares Nassef showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nabil Reda, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shady Yousry in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fares Nassef prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Buhaydah's Hussien Khalil got control of the ball when Shaker Yousry tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fares Nassef showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nabil Reda in the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Buhaydah were awarded a corner. Farouk Mowafak went to the cornerflag to take it. Hussien Khalil made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Shaker Yousry sent off a good shot on target. Shaker Yousry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Ziyad Essam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hussien Khalil was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. The Buhaydah fans cheered their team off the field, for while Istanha had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
