Sallam Ameen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hatem Saad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emam Mahgoub hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Besheer Emam charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Besheer Emam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sallam Ameen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Hatem Saad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Sallam Ameen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hatem Saad came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ahly SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hatem Saad couldn't finish the play. Sallam Ameen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emam Mahgoub went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 31 minutes, Fareed El-Yamani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juhaynah and the Ahly SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes Juhaynah got a freekick which was hit by Fareed El-Yamani. Hatem Saad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute Nedal Deyab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sallam Ameen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hatem Saad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sallam Ameen having to interfere. Sallam Ameen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hatem Saad in the 40th minute of play. Besheer Emam struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Sallam Ameen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ahly SC. Besheer Emam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sallam Ameen having to interfere. When Sallam Zagloul fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juhaynah's protests and gave Sallam Zagloul a yellow card for diving instead. Sallam Zagloul hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Sallam Zagloul made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Juhaynah's Lateef Abdel Hameed got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute Besheer Emam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sallam Ameen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Besheer Emam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sallam Ameen having to interfere. Hatem Saad took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sallam Ameen. Sallam Ameen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Besheer Emam struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Sallam Ameen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ahly SC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hatem Saad in the 63rd minute of play forced Juhaynah's goalkeeper Sallam Ameen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Hatem Saad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ahly SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The audience was convinced that Nedal Deyab's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sallam Ameen was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 77th minute, Sallam Zagloul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 78 minutes, Safwat Taher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ahly SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Safwat Taher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Juhaynah's goal looked a bit too open when Hatem Saad came free, but Sallam Ameen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hatem Saad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sallam Ameen having to interfere. Sallam Ameen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hatem Saad in the 86th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Besheer Emam in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sallam Ameen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hatem Saad took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sallam Ameen. Sallam Ameen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Sallam Ameen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Besheer Emam went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Ahly SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
