Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maher Hamada in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramez Fadel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zamalek sc's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saeed Refaat in the 15th minute. Saeed Refaat made a great header on Zamalek sc's corner, it was just that ديـرمـواس's Yehia Fareed managed to reach the ball for a save. Emam Fayez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yehia Fareed having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Maher Hamada made a precise shot to the right of Ramez Fadel. Zamalek sc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 30th minute Maher Hamada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramez Fadel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramez Fadel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gamal Maged in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Maher Hamada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramez Fadel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 36 played minutes, ديـرمـواس's Ahmed Abbas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ramez Fadel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ديـرمـواس reached it. In the 39th minute, Gamal Maged made a precise shot to the right of Ramez Fadel. Zamalek sc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Maher Hamada made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as ديـرمـواس's Maher Hamada slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ramez Fadel. That made the score 0-4 after 53 minutes of play. After 59 minutes, Maher Hamada made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Zamalek sc's Ramez Fadel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zamalek sc's Emam Fayez got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gamal Maged struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Ramez Fadel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ديـرمـواس. Ramez Fadel made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Gamal Maged sent off a good shot on target. 0-6 became the score in the 68th minute when Maher Hamada elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maher Hamada in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramez Fadel saved Zamalek sc from getting behind. In the 74thth minute of the game Maher Hamada who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zamalek sc's Ramez Fadel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gamal Maged had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes, Fikry Seif mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ديـرمـواس and the Zamalek sc players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the final whistle sounded ديـرمـواس left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Zamalek sc.
