When Zarqun's Taher El-Ghandour in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Shady Serag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nassef Burhan in the 24th minute of play. After 24 played minutes Tanbisha got a freekick which was hit by Deyab Waheed. Taher El-Ghandour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Shady Serag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, Tanbisha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Monzer Kamal to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Tanbisha getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Deyab Waheed hit a great ball. Zarqun's Taher El-Ghandour got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gamal Mahmoud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ameen Salah having to interfere. Taher El-Ghandour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salah el din Mourad's late challenge caught a Zarqun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salah el din Mourad helped the player get up and apologised. Taher El-Ghandour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shady Serag having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nassef Burhan to strike the kick off in the second half. Shady Serag made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Taher El-Ghandour sent off a good shot on target. Saleh Maged could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Shady Serag made a huge save. Ameen Salah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gamal Mahmoud in the 59th minute of play. Nassef Burhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shady Serag having to interfere. Nassef Burhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deyab Waheed charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Deyab Waheed the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Taher El-Ghandour got free with Shady Serag in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Kareem Abbas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Shady Serag made an important save on a dangerous shot by Taher El-Ghandour in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Taher El-Ghandour dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Shady Serag, 0-1. Taher El-Ghandour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Shady Serag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ameen Salah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sameh Fadel in the 93rd minute of play. Saleh Maged hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Zarqun left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tanbisha.
