Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Hashem Maged made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Hanafy Gameel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Shawbar's Hashem Maged slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mustafa Ziyad. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Tunbarah's Akram Raouf got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tunbarah's Fikry Salah el din got a free kick in the 12th minute. Mustafa Ziyad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hashem Maged in the 15th minute of play. Akram Raouf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Tunbarah booed when Shawbar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nayef Hafez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Shawbar's Hashem Maged ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mustafa Ziyad. Mustafa Ziyad yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Hashem Maged fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Ziyad having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Raslan Naguib managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tunbarah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raslan Naguib was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Akram Raouf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tunbarah's supporters rose to their feet, but Akram Raouf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alaa Emam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tunbarah's Mustafa Ziyad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Tunbarah from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute of the match Tunbarah got a corner. Shawbar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mohammed Waheed ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 48th match minute, Shawbar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hanafy Gameel to maneuver through the defense. Tunbarah's Mohammed Waheed got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Akram Raouf made a kick off. Mustafa Ziyad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hanafy Gameel, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Akram Raouf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Ziyad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hashem Maged, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tunbarah's Mustafa Ziyad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hanafy Gameel in the 65th minute of play. Abdel Monsef Rateb hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tunbarah's goalkeeper Mustafa Ziyad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Hashem Maged managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shawbar's supporters rose to their feet, but Hashem Maged was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Ziyad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 74 played minutes Tunbarah got a freekick which was hit by Akram Raouf. After a rather tough play, Tunbarah's Yassine Mourad got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Shawbar's Hashem Maged got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Hanafy Gameel made a precise shot to the right of Mustafa Ziyad. Tunbarah's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After some careless play in the Tunbarah defense, Hanafy Gameel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Ziyad. The Tunbarah fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Ziyad should have stopped the shot.
