Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Haitham Burhan got the match started through his kick off. Hogmin's Gaser Abdel Monsef played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shaker Taimour in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hogmin's Gaser Refaat got a free kick in the 7th minute. Haitham Burhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaser Abdel Monsef having to interfere. Gaser Abdel Monsef took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haitham Burhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaser Abdel Monsef showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shaker Taimour in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, Hogmin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barakat Omar to maneuver through the defense. If Amr Shehab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Amr Shehab got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaser Abdel Monsef showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Amr Shehab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fayez Abbas having to interfere. Amr Shehab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd match minute, Hogmin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taimour Adham to maneuver through the defense. Haitham Burhan took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaser Abdel Monsef. Gaser Abdel Monsef dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Besheer Badr to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Mushayrif's Ezz Yousif got a free kick in the 56th minute. Talaat Hatem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Gaser Abdel Monsef made a huge save. After 67 minutes of play, Hogmin's Besheer Badr made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fayez Abbas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Shaker Taimour's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaser Abdel Monsef read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Gaser Abdel Monsef made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haitham Burhan in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Hogmin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barakat Omar to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Mushayrif booed when Hogmin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaser Refaat didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Mushayrif getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Shaker Taimour hit a great ball. If Amr Shehab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Besheer Badr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hogmin had played much better football throughout.
