Mazhar Mohammed was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Farouk Ahmed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Yousry Hisham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Akram Serag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akram Serag struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Gaser Kordy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zamalek Sc. Hafez Emam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yousry Hisham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The Hell's Gaser Kordy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gameel Rabie in the 78th minute of play. With his leg Yousry Hisham managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when The Hell's Hafez Emam fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 86th match minute, The Hell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samer Mohanad to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Zamalek Sc's Hussien Hassan tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hafez Emam might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yousry Hisham. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hafez Emam ran back to his position shaking his head. Zamalek Sc's Yousry Hisham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Farouk Ahmed in the 96th minute of play.
