SOUL OF LION's Dionysis Skiriotis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mahgoub Adham in the 5 minute of the game. Family's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Jasper Kimman scored to the left of an out of position Saeed Hakeem, making the score, 1-0. Sallam Nabil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kordy Ramy having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SOUL OF LION's Zidan Rabie got a free kick in the 14th minute. 17 minutes in the game Mahgoub Adham did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Raslan Shehab. After having played for 18 minutes, Raslan Shehab managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Family's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raslan Shehab was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Zidan Rabie fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SOUL OF LION's protests and gave Zidan Rabie a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Jasper Kimman managed to get in a good position for a shot. SOUL OF LION's supporters rose to their feet, but Jasper Kimman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saeed Hakeem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute Jasper Kimman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saeed Hakeem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gaser Sobhy fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SOUL OF LION's protests and gave Gaser Sobhy a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Gaser Sobhy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 29 minutes, Sallam Nabil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Family's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sallam Nabil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to SOUL OF LION getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Mubarak Fayez hit a great ball. Saeed Hakeem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasper Kimman in the 34th minute of play. Saeed Hakeem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jasper Kimman's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Kordy Ramy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sallam Nabil's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jasper Kimman in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saeed Hakeem saved Family from getting behind. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

SOUL OF LION's Abdel Wahab Mohab quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hazem Metwaly, made in the 54th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sallam Nabil in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kordy Ramy saved SOUL OF LION from getting behind. 58 minutes into the game, Mahgoub Adham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Family's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SOUL OF LION the free kick. After 58 played minutes Family got a freekick which was hit by Mahgoub Adham. When Jasper Kimman came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the SOUL OF LION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jasper Kimman couldn't finish the play. Kordy Ramy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sallam Nabil, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. SOUL OF LION's Kordy Ramy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save SOUL OF LION from getting a goal against them. In the 80th match minute, SOUL OF LION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zidan Rabie to maneuver through the defense. Saeed Hakeem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jasper Kimman in the 83rd minute of the match. When Dionysis Skiriotis fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SOUL OF LION's protests and gave Dionysis Skiriotis a yellow card for diving instead.
