Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hanafy Mohab got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Assouan's goal looked a bit too open when Hanafy Mohab came free, but Moataz Raouf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Anwar Akram was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Assouan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave gen the free kick. In the 6th match minute, Assouan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anwar Akram to maneuver through the defense. Moataz Raouf made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Hakeem Medhat sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, gen's Moataz Raouf threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hanafy Mohab, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 18thth minute of the game Hanafy Mohab who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Assouan's Moataz Raouf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, gen's Hakeem Medhat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moataz Raouf narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, gen's Mortada Ehab got a free kick in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, Assouan's goal looked a bit too open when Hanafy Mohab came free, but Moataz Raouf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th match minute, gen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taher Nedal to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Assouan's Moataz Raouf got control of the ball when Hakeem Medhat tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hakeem Medhat got free with Moataz Raouf in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hanafy Mohab in the 44th minute of play forced Assouan's goalkeeper Moataz Raouf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Burhan Hassan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Moataz Raouf. Assouan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hanafy Mohab in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moataz Raouf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Moataz Raouf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakeem Medhat in the 54th minute of play. If Hanafy Mohab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakeem Medhat in the 61st minute of play forced Assouan's goalkeeper Moataz Raouf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hanafy Mohab might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Moataz Raouf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hanafy Mohab ran back to his position shaking his head. When Hanafy Mohab came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the gen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hanafy Mohab couldn't finish the play. When gen's Hanafy Mohab in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Assouan's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Hakeem Medhat managed to get in a good position for a shot. gen's supporters rose to their feet, but Hakeem Medhat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moataz Raouf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moataz Raouf didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hakeem Medhat went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Hakeem Medhat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hakeem Medhat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hanafy Mohab in the 88th minute of play forced Assouan's goalkeeper Moataz Raouf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hakeem Medhat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hakeem Medhat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hanafy Mohab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 95th minute, Hakeem Medhat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The gen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. gen's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
