After a rather tough play, AC MILAN's Fathy Abdou got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 18 minutes of play, AC MILAN's Naguib Riad made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fareed Ahmed was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fathy Abdou in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fareed Ahmed prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the game, AC MILAN's Naguib Riad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fareed Ahmed made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Naguib Riad in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fareed Ahmed prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fareed Ahmed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naguib Riad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 33 minutes, Medhat Saleh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hurghada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Medhat Saleh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fareed Ahmed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naguib Riad in the 35th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Hurghada's goal looked a bit too open when Sameh Hafez came free, but Fareed Ahmed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, AC MILAN's Naguib Riad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barakat Hossam made a kick off. After a rather tough play, AC MILAN's Hassan Karam got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Naguib Riads short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Fareed Ahmed to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sameh Hafez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Hurghada's goal looked a bit too open when Naguib Riad came free, but Fareed Ahmed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naguib Riad kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Fareed Ahmed made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Naguib Riad sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute, Barakat Hossam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blas Pere was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. The supporters of Hurghada booed when AC MILAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naguib Riad didn't get a good kick on the ball. AC MILAN's Blas Pere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barakat Hossam in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hurghada's Kamal Sabry got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute Naguib Riad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fareed Ahmed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fareed Ahmed showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fathy Abdou, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute, AC MILAN's Fathy Abdou dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. The crowd rose to their feet as AC MILAN's Fathy Abdou slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fareed Ahmed. That made the score 1-7 after 83 minutes of play. In the 86th minute of the match, Naguib Riad got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fareed Ahmed was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Hurghada's Fareed Ahmed got control of the ball when Naguib Riad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Naguib Riad succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-8 in the 92nd playminute. The Hurghada supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AC MILAN's performance. The match ended with a win for AC MILAN.
