The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. AC MILAN's Blas Pere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Václav Volák in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Václav Volák hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Naguib Riad notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of NormalTeam's Darweesh Ashraf. Darweesh Ashraf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Yassine Maged fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NormalTeam's protests and gave Yassine Maged a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, NormalTeam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yassine Maged to maneuver through the defense. Darweesh Ashraf was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hassan Karam. Darweesh Ashraf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naguib Riad in the 24th minute. Shaker Refaat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Blas Pere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Václav Volák notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of AC MILAN's Blas Pere. After having played for 44 minutes, Waheed Yasser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NormalTeam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waheed Yasser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sameh Hafez scored 4-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Darweesh Ashraf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Hassan Mohanad made the kick off in the second half. Yassine Maged kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Naguib Riad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Darweesh Ashraf was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. When Fathy Abdou came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the AC MILAN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fathy Abdou couldn't finish the play. When Yassine Maged was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. Yassine Maged kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. If Fathy Abdou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When AC MILAN's Fathy Abdou in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NormalTeam's goalie prevented a goal. Darweesh Ashraf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sameh Hafez in the 68th minute of play. After some careless play in the NormalTeam defense, Sameh Hafez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Darweesh Ashraf. The NormalTeam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Darweesh Ashraf should have stopped the shot. Darweesh Ashraf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fathy Abdou, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Shaker Refaat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute Sameh Hafez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darweesh Ashraf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, AC MILAN's Fathy Kareem got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The supporters of AC MILAN booed when NormalTeam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waheed Yasser didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darweesh Ashraf was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AC MILAN had played much better football throughout.
