NormalTeam's Shaker Refaat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hafez Abu Bakr in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, NormalTeam's Darweesh Ashraf got a free kick in the 27th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Ashmun:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of NormalTeam:s goal. Emil Piesciuk had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Waheed Yasser's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Yousry Amr got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Yousry Amr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Emil Piesciuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 minutes of play, NormalTeam's Yousry Amr made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emil Piesciuk was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Yousry Amr took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Emil Piesciuk to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yousry Amr made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, NormalTeam's goal looked a bit too open when Shams Mahmoud came free, but Shaker Refaat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes in the game, Hafez Abu Bakr fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Shaker Refaat having to interfere. A collision led to NormalTeam getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Yassine Maged hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Hafez Abu Bakr had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shaker Refaat. NormalTeam's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hafez Abu Bakr was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After some careless play in the Ashmun defense, Samer Shawky kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emil Piesciuk. The Ashmun fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emil Piesciuk should have stopped the shot. After 79 played minutes NormalTeam got a freekick which was hit by Yassine Maged. A long shot from Elnur Zabitov in the 80th minute of play was well struck, but Shaker Refaat made a really good save at the right post. Samer Shawky kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Yassine Maged kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Ashmun's Emil Piesciuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samer Shawky in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute Yousry Amr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Piesciuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The NormalTeam fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ashmun had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
