With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Ibar in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiago Gusmão saved Negm from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Ibar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tiago Gusmão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 84th minute, Mahgoub Fahmy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
