An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Tony Woodcock got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 0-15 became the score in the 82nd minute when Laureano Gómez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 85 minutes into the game, Laureano Gómez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mostafa Nagy. Laureano Gómez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-16. Felice Di Luca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
