After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Rando Okspuu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Night Knights's supporters rose to their feet, but Rando Okspuu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siim Alamaa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Margus Hanni hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Simo Kruusamäe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Siim Alamaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Harri Lippus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siim Alamaa was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harri Lippus in the 13th minute of play forced FC Päkapikud's goalkeeper Siim Alamaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th match minute, FC Päkapikud was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Margus Hanni to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Night Knights's Kalju Idarand got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 17 played minutes Night Knights got a freekick which was hit by Harri Lippus. Kaimo Lehismets did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Hardi Karelson 18 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute Hardo Lõhmus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siim Alamaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Hardo Lõhmus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hardo Lõhmus in the 27th minute of play forced FC Päkapikud's goalkeeper Siim Alamaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kalju Idarand during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Night Knights getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Kalju Idarand hit a great ball. Margus Hanni's late challenge caught a Night Knights's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Margus Hanni helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, FC Päkapikud was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Margus Hanni to maneuver through the defense. Margus Hanni kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Margus Hanni hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kaimo Lehismets made a kick off. Hardi Karelson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaimo Lehismets in the 57th minute of the match. Hardi Karelson came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Päkapikud's Kaimo Lehismets. But to his dismay, Kaimo Lehismets quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 65th minute, Margus Luik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kaimo Lehismets's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hardi Karelson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Night Knights's Harri Lippus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Siim Alamaa. That made the score 2-1 after 74 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, FC Päkapikud's Margus Hanni got a free kick in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaimo Lehismets in the 88th minute of play forced Night Knights's goalkeeper Hardi Karelson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 played minutes FC Päkapikud got a freekick which was hit by Asso Hinn. Asso Hinn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Hardi Karelson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Päkapikud's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
