FC Ainus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harri Latt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Harri Latt put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lennart Kartau. Riho Lusik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Kartau having to interfere. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Markus Lüdimois couldn't finish the play. Harri Latt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of FC Ainus booed when High Society Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Lillepuu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Harri Latt struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Lennart Kartau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ainus. Riho Lusik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
