In the 7th minute Kalju Mihklisaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Kartau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kert Rahumets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Lennart Kartau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alo Lani might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lennart Kartau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alo Lani ran back to his position shaking his head. Lennart Kartau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alo Lani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, FC Võru Santos's goalkeeper Laur Karm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edvard Veskur. When Alo Lani came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the FC Võru Santos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alo Lani couldn't finish the play. Alo Lani took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lennart Kartau. Lennart Kartau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Alo Lani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennart Kartau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalju Mihklisaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laur Karm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Lüdimois in the 29th minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, FC Võru Santos's Alo Lani made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lennart Kartau was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alo Lani in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lennart Kartau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laur Karm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Lüdimois, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute Alo Lani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Kartau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kalju Mihklisaar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Kartau having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alo Lani to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vello Allikvee in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lennart Kartau saved High Society Club from getting behind. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by High Society Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rainer Murulauk was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Võru Santos's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC Võru Santos's corner Rainer Murulauk fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lennart Kartau quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Kert Rahumets managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Võru Santos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kert Rahumets was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alo Lani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Lennart Kartau made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Veskur in the 76th minute of play forced FC Võru Santos's goalkeeper Laur Karm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Võru Santos booed when High Society Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uudo Hallast didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Lennart Kartau managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when FC Võru Santos's Alo Lani fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Lennart Kartau successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alo Lani was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 93 minutes into the match, Vello Allikvee dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lennart Kartau, 0-5. FC Võru Santos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
