Kitse 35's Alvar Kupits played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalju Heinsalu in the 6th minute of play. Alvar Kupits made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jass Muuga in the 8th minute of play. When Rasmus Algaja fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kitse 35's protests and gave Rasmus Algaja a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Toravere SK booed when Kitse 35 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rasmus Algaja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ralf Korjus made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Magnus Nöps sent off a good shot on target. Ralf Korjus came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Kitse 35's Üllar Viljat. But to his dismay, Üllar Viljat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Alvar Kupits showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalju Heinsalu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Kalju Heinsalu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Alvar Kupits tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Kalju Heinsalu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kitse 35's Alvar Kupits. Alvar Kupits was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Agu Valt struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Alvar Kupits didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toravere SK. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute, Jüri Reiljan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ralf Korjus was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 60th minute, Üllar Viljat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Kalev Saar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Üllar Viljat in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Kitse 35 were victorious despite being under pressure from Toravere SK for much of the match.
