After having played for 5 minutes, Juss Kluge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fc kuressaare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juss Kluge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ardo Lange kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Joosep Jõgi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 played minutes Kyrve got a freekick which was hit by Riivo Tuul. Leonhard Savi made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Norman Raamets sent off a good shot on target. Joosep Jõgi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Üllar Leesi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 23 minutes, Väino Arumäe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fc kuressaare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Väino Arumäe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24thth minute of the game Joosep Jõgi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kyrve's Üllar Leesi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aivar Kangro in the 27th minute of play forced fc kuressaare's goalkeeper Leonhard Savi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joosep Kansi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Üllar Leesi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kalju Jaanovits during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th minute, Kalju Jaanovits hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martti Erapart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aivar Kangro to make the kick off. Leonhard Savi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norman Raamets in the 54th minute of play. fc kuressaare's Väino Arumäe managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tarvi Annimäe in the 58 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Kyrve's zone, Juss Kluge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Üllar Leesi came out of the goal and Juss Kluge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. fc kuressaare's Juss Kluge couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kyrve. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joosep Jõgi got free with Üllar Leesi in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Kyrve's zone, Juss Kluge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Üllar Leesi came out of the goal and Juss Kluge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ilmar Jürmann's late challenge caught a fc kuressaare's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ilmar Jürmann helped the player get up and apologised. Ilmar Jürmann hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Üllar Leesi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joosep Jõgi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Juss Kluge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kyrve's Üllar Leesi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joosep Jõgi in the 94th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the fc kuressaare players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
