Sulev Link was a little too slow when Viljar Liivamägi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 18th minute Harald Vanapoiss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ago Mäetamm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes into the match, Odenpah's goalkeeper Sulev Link had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaijo Vernik. Ago Mäetamm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eedi Tõruke in the 42nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Kaijo Vernik could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Sulev Link however easily saved by the left post. Sulev Link made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Aver in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Kaijo Vernik made the kick off in the second half. Ago Mäetamm made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Jurand Niziolek sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th match minute, Odenpah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harald Vanapoiss to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaijo Vernik in the 57th minute of play forced Odenpah's goalkeeper Sulev Link to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ago Mäetamm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Vanapoiss, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Kaijo Vernik took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sulev Link. Sulev Link dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Sulev Link showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaijo Vernik in the 65th minute of the match. Fc Pärnu Lõvid's Ago Mäetamm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Pärnu Lõvid from getting a goal against them. Sulev Link took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Aver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaijo Vernik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sulev Link having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Kaijo Vernik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Sulev Link was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fc Pärnu Lõvid had won after a very even match.
