Olav Saarnak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evald Rammu in the 14th minute of the match. Evald Rammu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olav Saarnak having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Evald Rammu managed to get in a good position for a shot. JK Paite's supporters rose to their feet, but Evald Rammu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olav Saarnak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th match minute, FC Arsenal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heiko Heiberg to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Arsenal getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bert Einama hit a great ball. Olav Saarnak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evald Rammu's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd match minute, FC Arsenal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heiko Heiberg to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evald Rammu during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, JK Paite's Evald Rammu got a free kick in the 24th minute. 29 minutes into the match, FC Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Evald Rammu came free, but Olav Saarnak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olav Saarnak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evald Rammu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tom Tomson got free with Olav Saarnak in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evald Rammu struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Olav Saarnak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JK Paite. 38 minutes into the match, FC Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Mihkel Rahumets came free, but Olav Saarnak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aksel Uluots hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Evald Rammu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Olav Saarnak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Evald Rammu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olav Saarnak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evald Rammu was the one to do the kick off. Riivo Ülend took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urmet Nõu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the game, Urmet Nõu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Arsenal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JK Paite the free kick. Urmet Nõu kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. JK Paite's Evald Rammu managed to work through FC Arsenal's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Evald Rammu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. FC Arsenal's Olav Saarnak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihkel Rahumets in the 66th minute of play. After 68 minutes of play, JK Paite's Evald Rammu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olav Saarnak was left in no man's land by his defense there! 75 minutes into the match, FC Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Tomson came free, but Olav Saarnak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Evald Rammu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olav Saarnak. FC Arsenal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evald Rammu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After having played for 85 minutes, Evald Rammu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JK Paite's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evald Rammu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evald Rammu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Tomson in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olav Saarnak saved FC Arsenal from getting behind. The supporters of FC Arsenal booed when JK Paite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evald Rammu didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that JK Paite were the better team. JK Paite's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
