FC VÕRUMAA PARIMAD's Kaijo Kapten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save FC VÕRUMAA PARIMAD from getting a goal against them. Bengt-Rune Martinsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Kaijo Kapten made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Rune Martinsson got free with Kaijo Kapten in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 26 played minutes FC VÕRUMAA PARIMAD got a freekick which was hit by Tambet Hirse. 30 minutes into the match, Bolko Jung had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Holger Leier. Kurista's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bolko Jung was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Janusz Murdza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kaijo Kapten. That made the score 2-1 in the 34 minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, FC VÕRUMAA PARIMAD's goalkeeper Kaijo Kapten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Janusz Murdza. In the 40th minute, Kurista's Bengt-Rune Martinsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kaijo Kapten. Kaijo Kapten yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Janusz Murdza struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Kaijo Kapten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kurista.

Holger Leier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janar Niilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC VÕRUMAA PARIMAD's Janar Niilo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 56 played minutes Kurista got a freekick which was hit by Aare Laadi. In the 63rd match minute, FC VÕRUMAA PARIMAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amerigo Oddi to maneuver through the defense. Bengt-Rune Martinsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kaijo Kapten. FC VÕRUMAA PARIMAD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC VÕRUMAA PARIMAD's Kaijo Kapten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argo Jaakson in the 67th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC VÕRUMAA PARIMAD defense, Neeme Ustav kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaijo Kapten. The FC VÕRUMAA PARIMAD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaijo Kapten should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Argo Jaakson in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC VÕRUMAA PARIMAD's Kuuno Hommuk. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Murdza in the 86th minute of play forced FC VÕRUMAA PARIMAD's goalkeeper Kaijo Kapten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amerigo Oddi hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
