A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 15 minutes, Stasio Zajonc made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Kurkund's Raul Lesta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kurkund's Raul Lesta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Abreu in the 19th minute of play. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pavel Karp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jürgen Kanarbik in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Abreu to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Kurkund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Voldemar Annus to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute Kaljo Leier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Lesta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ennu Valgma in the 59th minute of play forced Kundahafen's goalkeeper Pavel Karp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kurkund's Raul Lesta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Kurkund from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Abreu got free with Raul Lesta in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernando Abreu came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Raul Lesta could save by the left post. Eedi Jüriöö charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eedi Jüriöö the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eedi Jüriöö kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Fernando Abreu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Raul Lesta made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Kundahafen's Kaljo Leier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Raul Lesta. Raul Lesta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Elmut Rohumaa took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Raul Lesta to make any attempt to save it.
