Spectators: 7432 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 148) FC KILL's Andrus Hinnosaar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valdur Kohvs short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Ervin Ülenõmm to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Koit Vikat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kunnar Arman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viitina's Ervin Ülenõmm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Viitina from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Viitina's zone, Valdur Kohv stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ervin Ülenõmm came out of the goal and Valdur Kohv tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute Andrus Hinnosaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ervin Ülenõmm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Valdur Kohv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as FC KILL's Andrus Hinnosaar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ervin Ülenõmm. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kunnar Arman in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Koit Vikat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Ervin Ülenõmm successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Andrus Hinnosaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ervin Ülenõmm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdur Kohv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olavi Aavasalu to make the kick off. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
