FC Shakhtar Donetsk's supporters rose to their feet, but Andris Nõmmemaa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Janis Raidur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Andris Nõmmemaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 13 minutes into the game, Vitsa's Enno Nõmmsalu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Asko Oad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Janis Raidur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andris Nõmmemaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Kaspar Reikop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oodo Juss ran back to his position shaking his head. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oodo Juss was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaspar Reikop in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Asko Oad saved FC Shakhtar Donetsk from getting behind. Oodo Juss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asko Oad having to interfere. After 62 minutes, Enno Nõmmsalu made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Asko Oad tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Asko Oad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oodo Juss went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in FC Shakhtar Donetsk's zone, Oodo Juss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asko Oad came out of the goal and Oodo Juss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to FC Shakhtar Donetsk getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jüri Sõõr hit a great ball. Asko Oad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enno Nõmmsalu in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94thth minute of the game Enno Nõmmsalu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Asko Oad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oodo Juss in the 96th minute of play forced FC Shakhtar Donetsk's goalkeeper Asko Oad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vitsa fully deserved thier win.
