After 15 minutes, Holger Korjus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Shakhtar Donetsk and the FC SSB players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Holger Korjus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Asko Oad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Ülend in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Kuuno Vaabel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Shakhtar Donetsk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC SSB the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Kuuno Vaabel got a free kick in the 17th minute. Asko Oad came out and tried to block the shot, but Tõnu Rannus slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andris Nõmmemaa in the 61st minute of play forced FC SSB's goalkeeper Kaido Haljas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Aadu Lahe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaido Haljas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ilmar Pahapill kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Asko Oad. That made the score 4-2 in the 72 minute of play. After some careless play in the FC SSB defense, Aadu Lahe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaido Haljas. The FC SSB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaido Haljas should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Norman Ubar got a free kick in the 86th minute. FC SSB's Valdo Ülend got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lauri Raudsoo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Asko Oad made a huge save. FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Asko Oad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauri Raudsoo in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Pärnaku in the 93rd minute of play forced FC Shakhtar Donetsk's goalkeeper Asko Oad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Asko Oad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save FC Shakhtar Donetsk from getting a goal against them. FC Shakhtar Donetsk were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC SSB for a fine match.
