The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the game, Rain Kurt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Joel Veerma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Võru JalgpalliKlubi booed when Syaliku was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lembit Lenk didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Osvald Alango had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 36 minutes into the match, Syaliku's goal looked a bit too open when Osvald Alango came free, but Joel Veerma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Osvald Alango shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Veerma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Syaliku got a freekick which was hit by Lembit Lenk. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jüri Ruuda made a kick off. Tauno Narusson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vello Arman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After 54 minutes, Rain Kurt made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Syaliku's Joel Veerma tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Osvald Alango notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Syaliku's Joel Veerma. Joel Veerma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rain Kurt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Jüri Ruuda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
