In the 10th minute of the match Arvo Veskimägi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evald Kanarbik skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Kalle Villemsaar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osvald Aug was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After 13 minutes, Eevald Jors mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Tautsa and the FC RAKVERE TARVAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes FC Tautsa got a freekick which was hit by Eevald Jors. In the 14th minute, Kalle Villemsaar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osvald Aug was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Kalle Villemsaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Osvald Aug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kalle Villemsaar in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvald Aug saved FC Tautsa from getting behind. When Sulev Kaal fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Tautsa's protests and gave Sulev Kaal a yellow card for diving instead. Sulev Kaal hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Riho Leinapaju spun around in front of the goal 28 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FC Tautsa's goal. In the 30th minute Kalle Villemsaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvald Aug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Riho Leinapaju put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Osvald Aug. Hannes Veedla struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Evald Kanarbik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Tautsa. Riho Leinapaju sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvald Aug showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalle Villemsaar, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Riho Leinapaju charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Riho Leinapaju the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes FC RAKVERE TARVAS got a freekick which was hit by Riho Leinapaju. FC Tautsa's Hannes Veedla got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hannes Veedla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Evald Kanarbik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Veedla in the 53rd minute of play. Kalle Villemsaar took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvald Aug. Osvald Aug dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. A collision led to FC RAKVERE TARVAS getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jürgen Kannisto hit a great ball. Kiur Puusepp took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Evald Kanarbik. FC RAKVERE TARVAS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Riho Leinapaju in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvald Aug saved FC Tautsa from getting behind. Riho Leinapaju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvald Aug having to interfere. If Kalle Villemsaar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kalle Villemsaar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Osvald Aug skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 73rd minute of the match, Kalle Villemsaar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Osvald Aug was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Kalle Villemsaar came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the FC RAKVERE TARVAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kalle Villemsaar couldn't finish the play. In the 80thth minute of the game Kalle Villemsaar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Tautsa's Osvald Aug was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jürgen Kannisto during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jürgen Kannisto kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, FC Tautsa's Hannes Veedla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evald Kanarbik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC RAKVERE TARVAS's Evald Kanarbik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Veedla in the 89th minute of play.
