Flying Whales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Prumli the free kick. With an all-out effort, Prumli's Kiur Koba threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sulev Aron, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Flying Whales's Raigo Edesi got a free kick in the 16th minute. During the 19th minute of the match Heiki Valgupera completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Heiki Valgupera a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 20th match minute, Flying Whales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heiki Valgupera to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 21 minutes, Priidu Leevike managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prumli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Priidu Leevike was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kiur Reiman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tanel Allik went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Kiur Reiman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timo Vessmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Tanel Allik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Kiur Reiman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timo Vessmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 played minutes Prumli got a freekick which was hit by Karmo Õlle. Timo Vessmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiur Reiman having to interfere. After some careless play in the Prumli defense, Tanel Allik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kiur Reiman. The Prumli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kiur Reiman should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sulev Aron to make the kick off. A collision led to Flying Whales getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Raigo Edesi hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Flying Whales's goal looked a bit too open when Sulev Aron came free, but Kiur Koba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Karmo Õlle in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Flying Whales's Kaido Lätte. 61 minutes into the match, Flying Whales's Tanel Allik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kiur Reiman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Sulev Aron left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Prumli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Sulev Aron kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Prumli's goal looked a bit too open when Hardo Vabadus came free, but Kiur Reiman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tanel Allik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Prumli's zone, Timo Vessmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kiur Reiman came out of the goal and Timo Vessmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kiur Reiman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tanel Allik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Flying Whales booed when Prumli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robi Lukk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timo Vessmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiur Reiman having to interfere. After 96 minutes of play, Prumli's Sulev Aron made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kiur Koba was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Flying Whales left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Prumli.
