If Hillar Edu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Brigadiers United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hillar Edu came free, but Eimar Valter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eimar Valter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helari Sõel in the 36th minute of the match. If Helari Sõel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eimar Valter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uuno Kahest in the 42nd minute of play. After 44 minutes of play, Ruuna's Helari Sõel made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eimar Valter was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ilmar Joa to make the kick off. When Ruuna's Hillar Edu in 53 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Eimar Valter guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 55th minute, Brigadiers United FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hillar Edu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ruuna's supporters rose to their feet, but Hillar Edu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eimar Valter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Helari Sõel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ruuna getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Kaspar Oja hit a great ball. Brigadiers United FC's Jüri Säga suffered a concussion in the 95th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Innar Vikat charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Innar Vikat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Brigadiers United FC. Markus Väljaste stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tom Raudla. 2-1. Brigadiers United FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
