An unexpectedly hard shot by Jann Randveer in the 4th minute of play forced Fc Santos Tartu's goalkeeper Evert Virumaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 7 minutes into the game, when Indrek Indrekson put in a rough tackle. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Viimsi JK! 13 minutes into the match, Viimsi JK's goal looked a bit too open when Maarek Oder came free, but Osvald Veskimeister reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvald Veskimeister took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Vesi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maarek Oder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahti Sõelsepp in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvald Veskimeister prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the match, Viimsi JK's goal looked a bit too open when Ahti Sõelsepp came free, but Osvald Veskimeister reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jass Eha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Maarek Oder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvald Veskimeister saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evald Nahkur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maarek Oder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osvald Veskimeister having to make a save. Taavet Kaljus charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Taavet Kaljus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Viimsi JK's Taavet Kaljus got a free kick in the 45th minute. If Maarek Oder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Viimsi JK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fc Santos Tartu were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahti Sõelsepp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 64th minute, Maarek Oder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fc Santos Tartu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 68th minute, Fc Santos Tartu's Ahti Sõelsepp ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Osvald Veskimeister. Osvald Veskimeister yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Ahti Sõelsepp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Osvald Veskimeister tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maarek Oder's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Osvald Veskimeister skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Viimsi JK's goalkeeper Osvald Veskimeister, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fc Santos Tartu's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
