Rein Kriska tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, one of FC Linnamäe:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Linnamäe. Rein Kriska had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Dan Noobel's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Reino Ranna's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sander Lõhmus firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 14th match minute, FC Linnamäe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Uluk to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 15 minutes, Helmut Lell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soreste FS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Helmut Lell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute, Oliver Albi made a precise shot to the right of Rein Kriska. FC Linnamäe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Oliver Albi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Helmut Lell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Oliver Albi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rein Kriska. FC Linnamäe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oliver Albi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Helmut Lell in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rein Kriska saved FC Linnamäe from getting behind. Oliver Albi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rein Kriska having to interfere. Helmut Lell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Helmut Lell made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Soreste FS's Rein Kriska threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Helmut Lell, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Helmut Lell took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rein Kriska. Rein Kriska dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. With a little luck, FC Linnamäe's Rein Kriska got control of the ball when Oliver Albi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oliver Albi in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rein Kriska, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Oliver Albi might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rein Kriska. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliver Albi ran back to his position shaking his head. After 75 minutes of play, Soreste FS's Oliver Albi made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rein Kriska was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rein Kriska made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helmut Lell in the 80th minute of play. Oliver Albi struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Rein Kriska didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soreste FS. Oliver Albi didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-6 via right post in the game's 84th minute. Soreste FS's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Helmut Lell in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rein Kriska saved FC Linnamäe from getting behind. Rein Kriska was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Helmut Lell capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Helmut Lell really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Soreste FS played a much better game than FC Linnamäe and deserved their victory. The FC Linnamäe players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
