The Future Stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Voldemar Traat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 10 in the game by Rain Alviste from a close distance when the talented Egert Harand managed to make a qualified save. Future Stars's players were relieved. If Ruud Stam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the game, one of Future Stars:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, FC SPARTAK's Janek Kartau got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Egert Harand. In the 21st minute Ruud Stam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egert Harand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Jaak Vahi made a precise shot to the right of Tanji Yudiawan. FC SPARTAK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Tanji Yudiawan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Voldemar Traat went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raul Intel during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Future Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Intel to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Future Stars's goalkeeper Egert Harand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ruud Stam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egert Harand having to interfere. FC SPARTAK's Tanji Yudiawan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaak Vahi in the 44th minute of play. If Ruud Stam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rain Alviste struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Egert Harand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC SPARTAK. After the first half Future Stars were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maarek Lippus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ruud Stam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egert Harand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Future Stars's zone, Volli Laat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egert Harand came out of the goal and Volli Laat tried to chip the ball over his head. Ruud Stam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egert Harand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Jaak Vahi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, FC SPARTAK's Ruud Stam sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egert Harand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernhard Müürsepp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rain Alviste in the 90th minute of play forced Future Stars's goalkeeper Egert Harand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rain Alviste struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Egert Harand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC SPARTAK. When Rain Alviste came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the FC SPARTAK fans jumped to their feet.
