When Helmut Lausmäe came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the FC Atz fans jumped to their feet. Edmund Laving showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arto Lutsar in the 42nd minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agur Leego was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Karja booed when FC Atz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elmut Lehepuu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laur Mäe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Olari Hermaste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agur Leego might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olari Hermaste. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agur Leego ran back to his position shaking his head. 95 minutes into the game, Laur Mäe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Olari Hermaste was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Atz's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
