In the 18th minute Ivari Annuk suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Toivo Niinemets hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 20 minutes of play, sanatoorium's Lembitu Saabas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ilmar Arus was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Liva FC booed when sanatoorium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Lippus didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Siim Vanakool made a precise shot to the right of Ilmar Arus. Liva FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.
