In the 14th minute of the match, Hubert Reismaa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kalev Lüüs saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. JK Soodi's supporters rose to their feet, but Taaniel Lõokene was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kert Hernes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kert Hernes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Taaniel Lõokene's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. JK Soodi's Juhan Mustakivi got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 53 minutes of play, JK Soodi's Taaniel Lõokene made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kert Hernes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julius Hallast took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kalev Lüüs. JK Soodi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Taaniel Lõokene fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kert Hernes having to interfere. A collision led to JK Soodi getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Joosep Valk hit a great ball. If Juhan Mustakivi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lauri Laidna charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lauri Laidna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 70 minutes into the game, one of JK Soodi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Valmar Sanglepp shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 75th minute Hubert Reismaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalev Lüüs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Juhan Mustakivi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kert Hernes was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the game, Valmar Sanglepp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Kõpu Dynamo II's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JK Soodi the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fc Kõpu Dynamo II fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! Erki Virve walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Juhan Mustakivi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hubert Reismaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalev Lüüs having to interfere. With his leg Kert Hernes managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when JK Soodi's Eduard Algaja fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Hubert Reismaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
