When Mattias Hälvik fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Korgu FC's protests and gave Mattias Hälvik a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Korgu FC! In the 13th minute, Taimo Ernits got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Korgu FC's Martti Übi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Korgu FC from getting a goal against them. Taimo Ernits could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Martti Übi made a huge save. Jaagup Üksik succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 21st playminute. Korgu FC's Martti Übi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Korgu FC from getting a goal against them. If Taimo Ernits had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taimo Ernits recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martti Übi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taimo Ernits in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Jaagup Üksik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Korgu FC's goalkeeper Martti Übi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Taimo Ernits. After a rather tough play, Korgu FC's Ergo Antsov got a free kick in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Taimo Ernits made a kick off. Eiko Ess was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 53 minutes into the match. 52 minutes into the game, one of FC Tartu Elephants:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Valdo Intel fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Martti Übi came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Tartu Elephants's Taimo Ernits. But to his dismay, Taimo Ernits quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Joonatan Kasepalu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Tartu Elephants's supporters rose to their feet, but Joonatan Kasepalu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martti Übi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Korgu FC's Ain Kersna got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aldo Soin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eikki Lüdimois in the 71st minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Ain Kersna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aldo Soin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Ain Kersna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Soin having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Korgu FC got a freekick which was hit by Väino Virve. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valter Joon in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martti Übi saved Korgu FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taimo Ernits in the 92nd minute of play forced Korgu FC's goalkeeper Martti Übi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Tartu Elephants booed when Korgu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ain Kersna didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Tartu Elephants had played much better football throughout.
