Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) FC Tartu Elephants's Taimo Ernits started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jaagup Üksik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valter Roosileht struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Aldo Soin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urevere. When Valter Roosileht came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Urevere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valter Roosileht couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Tartu Elephants's zone, Kaspar Rink stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Soin came out of the goal and Kaspar Rink tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kiur Nisu charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kiur Nisu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes FC Tartu Elephants got a freekick which was hit by Joonatan Kasepalu. Taimo Ernits sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the game, Taimo Ernits cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Aivar Kullamaa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aivar Kullamaa was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Tõnu Suslik capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tõnu Suslik really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Kaspar Rink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Aldo Soin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valter Roosileht to make the kick off. Henry Seitse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Joonatan Kasepalu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Tartu Elephants's Aldo Soin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Roosileht in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taimo Ernits in the 70th minute of play forced Urevere's goalkeeper Aivar Kullamaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the game, FC Tartu Elephants's Jaagup Üksik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aivar Kullamaa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. If Taimo Ernits had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. Taimo Ernits fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aivar Kullamaa having to interfere. FC Tartu Elephants's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
