New York Red Bulls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valter Roosileht was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Rainer Savisaar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valter Roosileht went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute Helari Üürike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rainer Savisaar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Valter Roosileht made a precise shot to the right of Rainer Savisaar. New York Red Bulls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Kaspar Rink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Kaspar Rink managed to get in a good position for a shot. Urevere's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaspar Rink was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rainer Savisaar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Urevere getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Kiur Nisu hit a great ball. A collision led to New York Red Bulls getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Sven Vain hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Valter Roosileht made the kick off in the second half. Heino Üits struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Aivar Kullamaa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New York Red Bulls. Kaspar Rink let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 55th minute shot 1-5 at rihgt post. Heino Üits fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aivar Kullamaa having to interfere. Kaspar Rink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aivar Kullamaa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heino Üits, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kaido Pregel came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the New York Red Bulls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaido Pregel couldn't finish the play. Kaido Pregel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aivar Kullamaa having to interfere. Kalmer Karindi kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heino Üits in the 78th minute of play forced Urevere's goalkeeper Aivar Kullamaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Taimo Viilukas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Urevere's Helari Üürike got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Aivar Kullamaa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaido Pregel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aivar Kullamaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaido Pregel in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Heino Üits shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aivar Kullamaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Karindi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Rainer Savisaar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes New York Red Bulls got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Hermann. If Kaspar Rink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Urevere could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than New York Red Bulls throughout the match.
