Oodo Erik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalmer Kalinin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute Risto Ülavere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernhard Nugin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Pärnu Ahvid's Risto Ülavere sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernhard Nugin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Pärnu Ahvid booed when FC FLORA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakob Pärtna didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 minutes, Janari Heinaru made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC FLORA's Bernhard Nugin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute of the match, Andris Kuhi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Oodo Erik was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bernhard Nugin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jarmo Püss went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Andris Kuhi put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Oodo Erik. Andris Kuhi had several of the Pärnu Ahvid's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Oodo Erik as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andris Kuhi got free with Oodo Erik in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute, Andris Kuhi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Johannes Taelma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oodo Erik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andris Kuhi in the 49th minute. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jarmo Püss made a kick off. In the 56th minute of the match Madis Pangsepp sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oodo Erik skillfully saved the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Pärnu Ahvid's goal looked a bit too open when Andris Kuhi came free, but Oodo Erik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kalmer Kalinin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Kalmer Kalinin made a precise shot to the right of Oodo Erik. Pärnu Ahvid's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Pärnu Ahvid's zone, Jakob Pärtna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oodo Erik came out of the goal and Jakob Pärtna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 80 played minutes Pärnu Ahvid got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Taelma. The audience was convinced that Andris Kuhi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oodo Erik was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. If Andris Kuhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute Kalmer Kalinin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oodo Erik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
